Kazakhstan. Soft Wheat Dominates in the 2019 Crop

 "4,579,702.9 tons of grain-harvest 2019 were received by the food companies of the republic as of October 24. In particular, 3240577.2 tons of wheat, including 3024510.2 tons of soft wheat and 216067 tons of durum wheat," KazakhZerno.kz reported.

 The report of the Ministry of Agriculture said, that by October 24, 94,437.7 tons of barley had been received by the food companies, 93% – class 2.

 Rice silos were filled with 63,200 tons, other crops – 336,388 tons of grain.

 It should be noted that, according to the report released by the agricultural department on October 25, grains were harvested from 15185 thousand hectares or 99.4% of the area, with an average yield of 12.7 centners per hectare. Production reached 19320.8 thousand tons of grain for the new crop.
