Russian Grain Network Project Progressing

 The Russian Grain Union and FOSS are jointly working on the implementation of the Russian Grain Network project, which integrates the world's best practices for grain operational monitoring and quality control.

 One of the means that will help to increase the efficiency of using the capabilities of infrastructure, improve the economy of the grain business and develop digital technologies is the creation of an independent system for the operational monitoring of grain quality. In particular, due to the implementation of the Russian Grain Network project, it will be possible to ensure:

• monitoring of grain delivered to and from an elevator on-line;
• estimating of the quality of products through operational monitoring of grain supplied to processing enterprises;
• creating of objective-based assessments of grain quality on the harvest by regional and federal agribusiness management bodies;
• formation of grain batches with predetermined indicators (including export) based on the requirements of a particular consumer;
• availability of data on quality and price for all participants;
• risk management in purchases, storage and processing of grain, etc.
