Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev took part in the VI Congress “Innovation Practice: Science plus Business”, organized by Innopraktika and Lomonosov Moscow State University. During the event, representatives of federal executive bodies, the scientific and business community discussed the impact of information technology and innovation on the modern personnel market and the education system.
The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia is improving the training system for agriculture, creating relevant educational programs and attracting an increasing number of students. According to Dmitry Patrushev, the training system today must constantly be transformed to meet the needs of the market. Agricultural universities are ready to change and introduce new specialties that will allow graduates to be in demand on the labor market.
In addition, the creation of comfortable living conditions in the countryside and the development of modern infrastructure are of the high importance for securing young local specialists. As the head of the Ministry of Agriculture noted, the activities of the new State program "Integrated Development of Rural Areas", the implementation of which will begin in 2020, will be aimed at solving this problem. The state program, in particular, will improve the quality of the provision of medical, educational and social services to the population, which will increase the attractiveness of work in rural areas.
During the Congress, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the Innopraktika company signed a joint action program. Within the framework of the “road map”, it is supposed to jointly identify areas of scientific research, promote the creation and development of centers of competence, implement development programs for agricultural universities, as well as a number of measures aimed at supporting scientific and project activities.
