Egypt Buys 240 thsd mt of Russian, Romanian Wheat at Tender

The Egyptian State Agency (GASC) bought 240 thousand tons of soft and milling wheat in tender on January 14, 2020 for delivery between March 1-10, the agn. Grain On-Line reported. 

These cargoes presented at the tender on a FOB basis in dollars per tonne were bought:

Solaris: 60 thousand tons of Russian wheat at $ 235.82 with a freight rate of $ 13 equating to $ 249.37 C&F

Grain Export: 60 thousand tons of Russian wheat at $ 237 with a freight rate of $ 12.90 equating to $ 249.90 C&F

Posco Daewoo: 60 thousand tons of Russian wheat at $ 235.30 with a freight rate of $ 13.55  equating to 248.85 $ C&F

Ameropa: 60 thousand tons of Romanian wheat at $ 236.97 with a freight rate of $ 12.90 equating to $ 249.87 C&F

At its previous tender on January 08, GASC booked 300 thousand tons of Russian, Romanian and Ukrainian wheat.
